Support for other Voluntary and Community Sector Groups

1A ARTS etc has an important infrastructure support role for other voluntary sector and community groups. We work with groups of all sizes from small tenants’ and residents’ associations to borough-wide organisations such as Volunteer Centre Camden. We help groups to find funders and with the writing of grant applications and support people using funding databases to which we provide free access. 1A ARTS etc runs courses in publicity design and offers support through our print and design service. This can help organisations with cost-effective solutions, for example, rather than having 500 copies of an annual report printed then spending the next two years falling over boxes of surplus reports groups can ask us to do very small print runs and get more copies printed as required. 1A ARTS etc also offers advice on setting up a new community group, governance, etc. If we don’t know the answers we will always signpost an organisation to someone who does.

1A ARTS etc hires out both our arts workshop for activities and meetings and our comfortable, well-equipped computer suite for training. We can also offer team-building activities in both our light and airy pottery studio and in our arts workshop.
